Care Instructions
Light: Requires full sun (at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily) for the best flower production and foliage color.
Watering: Water deeply during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Established plants need about one inch of water per week, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Always water at the base of the plant to keep foliage dry and prevent fungal diseases.
Soil: Thrives in rich, well-drained soil amended with organic matter like compost. An ideal soil pH is slightly acidic to neutral (around 6.5).
Maintenance:
Pruning: Prune in early spring just as new growth begins to emerge. Cut stems back to about 15 inches from the soil level to encourage sturdy new canes.
